Home alone....

Girls are gone to their daddy's house....home alone. What to do? Sleep? Watch DVR? Go out with friends...problem is I'm the only single in the group. Makes me feel like a third wheel. Not really into the party scene. Like to stay at home. Like to stay in my bed. Know anybody like that? I hate it when the girls are gone and not here. It really feels unnatural to me. They are my girls and we should be together. I do understand that they need to see their daddy....but If it wasn't for him in the first place we wouldn't have had to go through this. He gets the freedom to do what he wants and me well I am just here. I get a day and a half to myself every two weeks. Doesn't matter too much to me I just miss my girls and would much rather have that time with them.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there!! It's a hard job and someone has to do it...right! I just never really figured I would have to do it alone. I have been so blessed with almost 5 wonderful years of motherhood. I love being a mom and it has been so rewarding for me. I have learned to not take things for granted and to be thankful for what I have in my life. We have been through a lot in the past few years and we have managed to make it through because of each other. They are always there to make me smile when I need to and always there to make me laugh when I need one. They always seem to know when I am sad and they know exactly what to do to cheer me up. Truth is....everytime I look at them I can't help but feel love and happiness. How wonderful is that? To feel the unconditional love of your children and to know that you are needed. Man. It's undescribable.

Taylor and Emma have been telling me all day---"Happy Mother's Day!!" and making me things from paper. It's been a really great day and I love them so much! They are my heart and soul!

I am so lucky.....I have the best little girls in the world!!

Taylor & Emma.....

As you can see....I have two beautiful, little girls!! I love them with all my heart. Taylor will be 5 in August and Emma will be 3 in August. Boy do they grow up fast....It's been just me and them for 3 years now and I wouldn't trade it for the world. They are my heart, my soul, basically my whole life. Taylor is the quiet, shy, sensitive child. Always right by mommy's side. She loves art and painting. Loves to sing and dance. She is definitely one of a kind. Taylor will be graduating from Pre-K on May 27th @ Gibbs Elementary. I am so proud of her. She is almost through her first year of school granted me and the school nurse have came to know each other on a first name basis. Seems like they catch everything when they start school. Emma is my wild child...boy is she a handful. She's the child who's full of life and knows no consequences. No fear! The first to climb out of her crib. The first to climb down from the high chair. I think you probably get my drift on this one. She's the adventerous one who beats to the rhythym of a different drum! But you have to love her...she is very caring and so sweet. She is my little mini-me. I have the best little girls in the world!

The Neeley Girls....

The Neeley Girls!!! Aren't they beautiful? I don't dress them alike very often. I remember when my mom tried to do that with Christina and me. Of course, we are twins and it's common. I don't think either of us enjoyed that too much!

My girls....

Taylor and Emma Neeley.....Easter Sunday. Smiling for mommy. Having a blast at Aunt Christina's. Oh! And don't forget the Big Red mustaches...haha. I think it adds to the picture. They are beautiful either way. Bias? Me? Nah!

Hand, Foot, and Mouth....

Has anyone ever heard of the hand, foot, and mouth disease? I mean come on. Obviously it is going around in the schools here in Huntsville. The school nurse called yesterday and told me I had to come get Taylor from school because this disease is contagious. So immediately what do I do? I call the doctor's office and amazingly enough....Dr. Hsaio had a cancellation. So off to school I go to pick her up and then onto the doctor's office. Well, well, well....guess what? She has the hand, foot, and mouth disease. It's painful ulcers inside the mouth making it hard for them to eat. Low grade temperature. Red spots and watery blisters on the hands and feet and even the buttocks. There is unfortunately nothing you can do for this except keep their skin moistened and make sure you don't use any harsh detergents or soaps on their skin. This can last anywhere between 3-6 days and they are contagious the 2 days before symptoms appear and then 2 days after. Usually only children between the ages of 6 months to 4 years of age aquire this disease. Just make sure you wash your hands!! That's the important thing.
