Thankful for my two, beautiful, little girls. I thank the lord everyday that Taylor and Emma are happy and healthy. After hearing about Katie Connor, I am saddened to think about the whole ordeal. Her father, William, grew up with my ex husband and her grandfather, Glenn, has known my family since my dad taught for him at North Zulch ISD back in the 70's and has pastored several things for the Neeley family. This whole thing just hits close to home for me especially when it is people you know. As a mother, I couldn't imagine having to go through the fight for my child's life and in the end realize the end result is still the same. I can't even begin to know what it would be like to know that my child was dying and there was nothing they could do for her. Although I would be thankful for the time I had gotten to spend with my child and the everlasting affect she would have on our lives...my heart would never be the same. My thoughts and prayers are with the Connor's during this most difficult time. I pray the lord helps provide them the strength and the faith to keep going and fighting! Praying for a miracle and peace!!

Turning 30....
Christina and me...birthday girls!! We celebrated our 30th birthday at Fajita Jack's with our closest family and friends. This birthday of course was the birthday I have been dreading for about 6 months now...all of my friends have heard me moan and groan about getting older. Age is just a number, right! Quote, unquote. Haha. So far, it hasn't been so bad.

The Cubbies are coming.....Cubs vs. Astros
Everyone that knows me.....knows that my family loves baseball. The Chicago Cubs came to Houston on June 4th to play the Astros at Minute Maid. The Chicago Cubs of course is our favorite team!!! My favorite Cubbie of all time is....Ryne Sandberg. Mark Grace runs a close second and don't forget about Andre Dawson. Andre Dawson #8 was kind enough one spring break in Arizona...to give me the ball after my father dropped me onto the baseball field. I have lots of baseball memories...and that moment...I will never forget. Anyhow, we usually try to take the kiddos to the ball park at least once a year so they can experience the game. It almost always involves the Chicago Cubs. haha. Gotta love that. Here are some of the pics! Aunt Crystal and William....love this boy!
