Finally...

Love, Love, Love. Finally..... The girls are home after being at their dad's for over a week for the Thanksgiving Break. We are sitting here watching the Princess and the Frog and Camp Rock 2. How I have missed them singing and dancing in front of the televsion? Or just seeing their smiles? Hearing their voices? So happy to hear them giggling, running, playing, singing, and dancing. Oh! To be a child again? Never a dull moment in the Neeley house. :)

Thanksgiving Break 2010...

Hmm....what can I say? The girls went to their dad's for the Thanksgiving Break. I still haven't really gotten use to sharing the girls on the holidays. It's been 3 years since our divorce was final on November 26th. It was a blah day for me!! The emotions of the day. The fact of being alone. It all just overwhelmed me. Spent most of the day on my mom and dad's couch watching College Football and sleeping.

Who actually gets a divorce during the holidays???? Geez. I guess the answer would be..."me!!" Haha. It was definitely a lack of options and not wanting the whole ordeal to drag on forever or any longer than it already had. Needed closure so we could both move on with our lives.

It turned out that it was a very long week for me. It seemed to drag on forever. It did however give me some time to myself. So I took the chance to find some R&R to try to take my mind off of things. Went to Vegas, spent Thanksgiving with my family, and did a little shopping. Spent time with some friends and missed the girls beyond belief.

Vegas 2010...part II

Hello Vegas!! Oh, how I have missed thee. Haha. It's only been 4 months since my last visit to Vegas!! The weather was okay this time. It was raining when we got there. Never actually seen it rain in all the times I've been to Vegas. The wind was blowing. There was a strong wind advisory. It was really cold too. It was almost like being in Omaha, Nebraska during the College World Series. They always say....wait a second, the weather will change. Haha. But all in all it was a great trip. Got to play some slots, eat some good food, and spend time with my family. Good advice....

One of our favorite eating spots in Vegas...

Pink's Hot Dogs....yummy!!

A view of Vegas...
Chocolate flowers....milk, dark, and white chocolate. They actually spin or rotate. It is one of the neatest things I've ever seen.
